Plumber

Job Summary:
Ndola Prime is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our facilities management team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in our facilities. Your expertise will ensure the safety and efficiency of our plumbing systems, contributing to a well-functioning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances. Ensure that all installations comply with local building codes and regulations.
Repairs: Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and malfunctioning fixtures. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning. Prepare reports and recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
Collaboration: Work closely with contractors, construction teams, and other maintenance staff to coordinate plumbing work during building projects or renovations.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and best practices while working. Ensure that all plumbing work is performed safely and effectively.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of plumbing work performed, including repairs, installations, and inspections. Prepare reports for management review.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; certification in plumbing or a related field is preferred.
3+ years of experience as a plumber, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and codes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
