1.0 JOB TITLE: INFRASTRUCTURE COORDINATOR (1)
Report to Operations Manager
JOB PURPOSE
To oversee the repairs, installations, and upkeep of various MICCL infrastructure including designing maintenance procedures, tracking budgets and expenses, and performing inspections on different facilities to find problerns and make repairs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiates the development of the maintenance budget and ensures effective implementation of the same.
Negotiates contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work
Ensures operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
Ensures that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition.
Implements workplace safety policies and standards.
Trains and supervises employees of the maintenance department.
Inspect MICCL infrastructure to ensure it meets safety standards.
Organizes repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests > Acts fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages)
Find ways to reduce MICCL operating costs and conserve energy.
Performs any other duties related to the job assigned by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Grade twelve School certificate with five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics
Degree in Electrical, Civil, Facility Management, or a related field preferred.
Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)

2.0 JOB TITLE: INTERNAL AUDIT SPECIALIST (1)
Report to Internal Audit Manager
JOB PURPOSE
To examine and analyse company records and financial documents, in order to identify compliance concerns, fraud, and data inaccuracies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs and controls the full audit cycle including control management over operations effectiveness financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
Determines internal audit scope and assist in developing annual plans
Obtains, analyses, and evaluates accounting documentation previous reports, data, flowcharts.
Prepares and presents reports that reflect audit’s results and document process.
Acts as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.
Identifies loopholes and recommends risk aversion measures and cost savings.
Maintains open communication with management and Internal Audit Manager
Conducts follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
Commits to continuous knowledge development of rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
Provides audit counselling, advisory and decision support service to various units of the MICCL as directed by Internal Audit Manager
Ensures audit exceptions are resolved timely and provides updates to the relevant authorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 School Certificate with five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics Certification in Internal Audit (Certified Internal Auditor)
Must be a member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)

3.0 MARKETING AND SALES SPECIALIST (1)
Report to Marketing and Sales Manager
JOB PURPOSE
To identify new business opportunities and clients for MICCL, through new products, services and lines of business including developing marketing and sales strategies to help grow the business. The position will place more emphasises on growing local business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creates and maintains a healthy relationship with the government of the Republic of Zambia and international organisations, with a view to lobbying for hosting of international conferences/conventions and events.
Identifies and makes arrangements to bid for international and local Conventions.
Coordinates the functions of the Marketing agents or agencies.
Organizes or participates in international trade fairs, trade expos, locally and abroad
Prepares periodic publications, (manual and electronic) promoting the activities of MICCL.
Prepares various marketing statistics and reports.
Coordinates and collaborates with various service providers such as hotels, hospitals, and security firms.
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 School Certificate with five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business administration or in any business-related field

4.0 PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST (1)
Report to Procurement Manager.
JOB PURPOSE
To manage day-to-day operations of the procurement activities through timely sourcing of goods, services, works and consulting services in order to meet MICCL requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares bidding documents for goods, works and consultant services in accordance with the approved procurement plan for review by the Procurement Officer
Initiates the evaluation of quotations from suppliers for purchase of goods or services and recommends best source/supplier for the approval in line with public procurement guidelines and regulations
Undertakes market research to ensure purchases are sourced from the most competitive
source
Prepares periodic and ad hoc procurement reports and ensures submission to MICCL in timely manner.
Initiates production of contract documents that are tendered in line with stipulated rules and regulations in the procurement of goods and services
Prepares timely verification of supplier’s invoices and processing payments
Physical sourcing of commodities when required ie going in the field to make purchases
Undertakes any other relevant duties assigned by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 School Certificate with five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics BSc in Purchasing & Supply, BA Degree in Public Administration or equivalent
Post Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply for those with Business Administration or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply (CIPS-UK Level 6).
Must be a Full member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply with a valid Practicing License (ZIPS)
EXPERIENCE

5.0 STORES OFFICER (1)
Report to Assistant Accountant.
JOB PURPOSE
To manage stores activities including delivery receipt, storage of all products stocked in the MICCL, to ensure that all activities meet or exceed agreed service levels and comply with the written processes and policies of the MICCL.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides necessary information to generate real cost figures.
Assists in maintaining a clean and well-organised stores room and ensures that all Company Health and Safety policies and procedures are maintained.
Monitors all orders, incoming stock and stock issued
Manages and organises inventory by using FEFO/FIFO register.
Administers and actions monthly & other stock counts.
Ensures that stock is issued as per the requirements.
Prepares orders for delivery in accordance with picking orders, operation requirements and vehicle loading procedures.
Monitors the temperature of all stores and reports unacceptable deviations immediately to avoid damaged product
Monitors the use of storage space and advises where stock can be compressed and repositioned to make better use of the space available.
Operates with due regard to the safety of all personnel and products.
Ensures all products in stores are set as per MICCL Requirements Flags stock that is due to expire to avoid it being expired and un-used
Ensures that the wastage report is done daily and given to the General Manager
Ensures all shortages are reported daily.
Regularly surveys the stores for leakages, damage, pest infestation, hygiene, and reports such to the SHEQ Manager/ General Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 School Certificate with five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics
Degree in Stores Management, Operations Management, Value Chain Supply, Post Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply for those with Business Administration or Equivalent or Full CIPS
Must be a full member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply with a valid Practicing License (ZIPS)

6.0 SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY
(1) Report to Manager Quality Assurance and Risk Management
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in all operations, services, and events hosted by MICCL. This role involves developing and maintaining effective quality management systems, overseeing risk assessments, and implementing strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with hosting international and local conferences and events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that compliance of all the Company’s Health and Safety, Quality. Food Safety and Environment requirements as detailed in the Health and Safety Quality, Food Safety and Environment Management System are implemented and maintained in all existing and new sites Develops Health and Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environment Management System for MICCL
Reviews all internal and external audit reports to ensure that the MICCL and client standards are being correctly and effectively implemented
Monitors compliance to HACCP system, EHS system and QMS requirements, update all information material and ensure that all updates are effectively communicated to all operating divisions
Undertake planned EHS routine, quality and HACCP, Health and Safety and Environment system audits and yearly risk assessments of all activities, to ensure ongoing awareness of need to minimize risks
Reports monthly results achieved for the QHSE key indicators and assess the achievement of targets set. Send monthly QHSE statistics to the head office on the first day of each month
Leads corrective and preventive actions and report actions implementation as required
Ensures development and update of training material and information for in-house food hygiene training. Health and Safety induction, HACCP, Environment and quality procedures management and compliance to the training plan for the year
Collects all injury on duty data monthly – measure cost of injury/accident in line with MICCL reporting procedures and ensure this is done within 24hrs of the occurrence of the incident
Assists with development and implementation of supplier pre-listing criteria and introduction and approval of supplier through audits of all high-risk suppliers
Assure compliance on yearly planned audits and reactive inspections on sub-contractors in terms of QHSE and food safety
Deals with product non-conformances/quality complaints
Leads investigation on any alleged food poisoning and other staff injuries reported.
Initiate the investigation within 24hrs of reporting.
Present the final report to the client and close out presentation
Supports the development and maintenance of safe work procedures and work instructions as and when required

7.0 INFORMATION, COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (1)
Report to the General Manager.
JOB PURPOSE
To manage the MICCL ICT information systems to give strategic support and optimize corporate processes of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Meets the minimum IT Governance requirements and effectively maintain the equipment and
systems that make up the IT and Communications systems at MICCL.
Proposes replacements that are in line with emerging technology, but do not put the organization at risk
Ensures that MICCL has current and advanced technology infrastructure in place
Provides information to key decision makers to make informed decisions through real and viable information.
Procures top of the market, best of breed equipment, systems, and engage with organizations that provide top class equipment, service and expertise.
Undertakes technical evaluation of software and hardware requirements for the MICCL and provides specifications to the Procurement Section in order to select and acquire computer hardware and software suitable for the MICCL’s operational needs
Develops and manages ICT information security procedures to protect MICCL’s business information against unauthorized access or loss through viruses, hacking, or other cyber-crimes.
Develops appropriate ICT structures and systems to suit the identified tasks so that information on regulated entities and projects can be generated easily.
Implements the MICCL’s ICT information policy, ensuring that access to certain information is clearly defined.
Plans and implements additions, modifications, rehabilitation, and extension of the ICT configuration to meet new business needs.
Works with cross functional groups to propose and manage creative solutions for improving ICT utilization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 School Certificate with five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics Degree in ICT or related field
Master’s Degree in a related field will be an added advantage.

Report to Manager Quality Assurance and Risk Management
JOB PURPOSE
To provide risk management strategy and work plan by monitoring the management of risk, undertaking quality control, identifying gaps in the use of quality policy and processes, including providing input into the development of risk management systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors the management of risk to identify gaps in the internal controls in place, to ensure appropriate strategies are identified and implemented.
Undertakes quality control reviews to ensure consistent implementation of policy and processes across all business units.
Identifies any gaps and challenges in the use of quality policy and processes to ensure appropriate strategies are identified and implemented to address the gaps and challenges.
Prepares reports on challenges or gaps in the management of risks, to ensure management recommends solutions to the gaps identified
