The role is based on supporting the intuitive sales, marketing, and business development processes at MarcTina Consultancy. The position’s primary responsibility will be to collaborate with our team to improve the sale of our services and products in Zambia. The role will be a mix of marketing and sales. The marketing functions will include research, the production of marketing materials, websites, videos, social media, and partner events. The sales functionalities will include pitching, sales support, explaining the intuitive value proposition of our products to our potential clients, demonstrating our products, and helping with sales opportunities, as well as supporting our partners with their marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
Front runner with excellent networking and relationship management skills and the ability to use these to develop new business opportunities and relationships for the firm.
Front runner with strong organisation and sales management skills, ability to effectively manage clients and tasks end to end, in a prompt manner.
Conduct research on potential clients, manage and update company CRM databases with all activities.
Assist with the production of marketing materials and literature, such as web content, brochures, blog posts and press releases
Following up sales and business development opportunities in various sectors using a mix of mediums. (in person, on phone, via email)
Strong verbal, virtual, and written communication skills, ability to write reports and proposals across various sectors.
Attend partner sales review and follow up / monitoring of actions
Source for clients, book meetings to pitch our products and services
Conduct weekly meetings with management to discuss some of our wins in sales and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
A relevant four-year Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management Degree.
High-level of computer literacy with a solid command of Microsoft Office suite, and for this role CRM skills
Front runner that takes responsibility and is interested in growing their skillset in the sales and marketing space
Prior and proven experience in generating sales
Thrives working within strict timelines and in ‘high-pressure’ environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Has demonstrated ability to take initiative;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
Very strong attention to detail.
Friendly and personable personality
Ability to learn and be coachable
Must be willing to go an extra mile to meet targets
Must have a driver’s licence and know how to drive and be willing to drive outside of town for business development
