MEF is looking for a Course Coordinator on contractual basis at Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation Campus in Mindolo Kitwe . S/he will be responsible for the effective running of the academic courses at our main campus in Kitwe and at our training farm in Kalulushi under the Programmes Department.
Reports to: The Head of Programmes
Duties and Responsibilities.
Communicate in a clear and courteous manner the Programmes Departments agenda with a diverse group of course participants and departments
Organize, coordinate, prepare and budget for course materials, facilities, equipment, personnel and other logistical needs of the Programmes Department
Ensure the current lecturer population status of all courses is adequate and offer solutions for unplanned gaps in order to meet the Lecturer to Student Ratio requirement for all the  courses
Ensure that all Class Represetatives complete course class registers and that lectures sign off
Ensure that Class Representatives fill in an evaluation form for all lecturers upon completion of each course
Recognize problems in the classrooms which may disturbe the learning process and address them in a timely and appropriate manner
To administer examinations
Ensure accurate submission of all pre-course and post-course paperwork and reports, including appropriate documents
Maintain copies of all course examination paperwork , including course evaluations and make this paperwork available upon request as guided for by the MEF policies and regulations
Ensure that the online portal is up and rinning in collaboration with the IT Department
Monitor the use of technological equipment and software in the Programess Department to ensure functionality and efficiency
Ensure that all students are paid up before they can allowed to write examinations
Lecturing some courses
Qualification and Experience
Full Grade 12 School Certificate, GCE or its equivalent
Minimum Masters Degree in Education, Social Sciences or any relevant qualification
Teaching Methodology certificate
At least years (5) year coordinating college courses/programmes or lecturing
Desirable Skills and Abilities
Supervisory skills
Outstanding  oral/written communication and interpersonal skills that enable positive working relationships.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Has knowledge and experience in coordinating college/university courses
Have knowledge of the process required to assemble and meet all course logistical requirements
Have knowledge and experience to review and assess different courses content
AGE:Â 30 years and above
Commencement of duty: 1st  October 2024.
Background: Strong Christian background and able to work in an Ecumenical Environment.
